Prelude - Part 1 - Into the Void
My first contact with unity was last year, had tried to start the development of a Tower Defense but soon after was overwhelmed with the process, Project was too big for the knowledge I had at the time.
Had started the process with a few tutorials from Brackeys Tower Defense Tutorial Playlist to help me get a sense of things.
Then found some tutorials from Catlike Coding and checked out his Hex Map Tutorial which I ended up implementing and using for a while, soon after the project fell, due to lack of interest in my part and the friend I was making it with.
I had given up, game development seemed hard, I was using something I had to reverse engineer to try and understand the fundamental inner-works and it was just awful, was learning the tool the wrong way, and how to do things a new environment (games) the way one shouldn't, with something way too complex for the knowledge one had.
Maybe game development just wasn't for me.
