Infinity Battle
A downloadable game for Windows
This game is being developed for an educational porpuse using Unity and C#.
Game developed for "Aplicações Multimédia" at the "Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal" in Portugal.
We are trying to learn about AI, procedural generation, game component modularity using scriptable objects and game development workflow in general.
Classic Beat Em Up Gameplay in the setting of an infinite-runner side-scroller.
Designed to be played solo or co-op, each run of the game is different from the last one, each run is proceduraly generated over time, giving a seamless feel of transitions between stages.
Key features :
- Classic Movement System which includes, movement over a plane, jump action for airborne action, a dash movement ability to turn the player invulnerable for a short time;
- Combo System that allows the player to chain various attacks such as light attacks into medium attacks, along other variations;
- Different heavy attack linking based on the previous attack type, light or medium;
- Includes other attacks such as jump attacks, run attacks and special attacks, that may have a different behavior depending on the character;
- Multiple characters to play with, which are unlocked using points gained through each run;
- Solo or couch co-op up to 2 players at a time.
